Terminal Container Athus (TCA) has been active as an intermodal operator in southern Belgium since 1979.<\/span><\/p>\n

Strategically located in Athus, at the border triangle of Luxembourg, France, and Germany, TCA forms a vital logistical link between the seaports of Antwerp and Zeebrugge and the industrial regions of Central and Southern Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n

With an annual volume of over 100,000 TEU and an average of 1,200 trains per year, TCA plays a central role in rail freight transport. Since 2023, TCA has also operated its own rail traction company, TCA Rail, which is responsible for traction activities. <\/span><\/p>\n

For our branch in Antwerp<\/b>, we are looking for a Train Driver (M\/F)<\/b> to strengthen our operational team.<\/span><\/p>\n

Your role<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

In this full-time position, you are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of trains, shunting movements, and compliance with applicable safety procedures.<\/span><\/p>\n

Specifically, your tasks include:<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>\u2022 Operating trains and performing shunting movements.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Carrying out brake tests and locomotive performance tests.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Correctly applying regulations regarding composition, braking, and immobilization.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Operating road-rail vehicles and local safety and signaling equipment.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Refueling and basic maintenance of diesel locomotives.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Identifying and responding correctly to unforeseen or disrupted situations.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Communicating closely with dispatchers, fellow drivers, and maintenance teams.<\/span><\/p>\n

Requirements and qualifications<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\u2022 Minimum 20 years old (or 18 years with a restricted license for Belgian territory).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Bachelor’s degree or TSO in a technical field, or equivalent through experience (5 years of industrial experience).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 In possession of a Category B Train Driver’s License<\/b> and a valid certificate of competence in accordance with the Railway Code.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Medically and psychologically fit according to European railway requirements.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Language skills: Dutch and French at B1 level<\/b> (CEFR).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Strong focus on safety, stress resistance, and a sense of responsibility.<\/span><\/p>\n
